The Scientific Union for Sustainable Tourism Development (STDe) and the Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism has organized a seminar to introduce a tourist product “Ha Long Wonder” and mobilize votes for the destination.

 

 “Ha Long Wonder” is an exciting idea that will combine seven islands of Ha Long Bay into the image of a legendary dragon. With this specific tourist product, tourists will travel and discover Ha Long through services such as touring Ha Long Bay by dragon ships, flying on dragon-shaped balloons or swimming by dragon-shaped diving-suits. In additional, souvenirs and gastronomy will focus on dragon decoration.

 

At the seminar, scientists affirmed that as Ha Long Bay becomes the world’s new natural wonder, it will attract more and more foreign tourists and speed up the building of sustainable tourist products. 

 

STDe called upon voting for Ha Long Bay to become the world’s new natural wonder via mobile phone and internet at the seminar and this campaign received response from students and delegates. The union also presented awards for a student group from the University of Construction for their excellent idea on the tourist product for Ha Long Wonder.
