Rooms
The word 'Mia' can be literally translated from Vietnamese as "sugarcane" and this green, architectural plant is a suitable symbol for our modern, uniquely designed buildings with grass roofs. Mia was designed to merge into the landscape, and to be beautiful on the eye. We only have 50 rooms, but every single one has a sea view; there is no need to ask for one! We really are exclusive, and quiet, and peaceful; the ideal place to recharge your batteries.
We have three choices of accommodation: Villas, Condos and Mia Suites. As with any good design, simplicity is the key, and all the Villas are identical in design, as are the Condos. The only difference between them is that some have splash pools whilst others have extra garden.
All of our rooms were built with your comfort in mind, blending contemporary living with luxurious design. Ample space is offered in all our room categories, and each has its own private veranda, which offers the discerning guest the option of experiencing a beach getaway in ultimate privacy, away from other guests.

Villas
These are built to the high standard you can expect from Mia, and have been designed and constructed using natural wood and stone to create an environment where you can relax, unwind, and be yourself.
All of our villas include: indoor and outdoor lounge areas; indoor and outdoor showers; a bath; private garden; some with private pools; its own terrace with 2 deck chairs and a hammock for those lazy, quiet afternoons; a four-poster bed you'll want to take home with you; and of course air conditioning and full room service options for meals and drinks alike.
In addition, all the villas are fully equipped with Wi-Fi, safety box, minibar, writing desk, air-conditioning, coffee and tea facilities, IDD telephone and cable TV.
- Beachfront Villas: The beachfront villas are on the edge of the beach, so you can wake up and step straight onto the sand. They also have their own private splash pool if you feel like cooling off in your own privacy. With the main pool and Sandals restaurant only a minute's walk away across the sand, these Villas have luxury and location.
- Cliff Villas: The Cliff Villas are set high upon the precipice, with an unobstructed 180° view of the East Sea, and have an added sense of privacy. They are a fantastic place to watch the local fishing boats heading out to sea, and the sea breeze is wonderfully refreshing. Each Villa is built to Mia's high standard, has over 45sq/m private garden, and its own private splash pool.
- Garden Villas: The Garden Villas are set in the manicured gardens – all with ocean view – and all have easy access to the private beach, restaurant and main pool. The villas are scattered throughout the gardens like the plants themselves, to give you a sense of privacy. As if planted by the wind, coconut palms and gorgeous sweet smelling frangipani plants grow between the villas, providing shade from the midday sun and feeding your senses.
- Connecting Villas: One of its kind in the resort, we have designed two Garden Villas adjacent to one another with a communal outdoor lounge alfresco area. They offer a great environment for families or friends to share. The two villas, each spacious, modern, and comfortable, offer privacy to those who want it, and yet with a shared living area they are perfect for a game of cards, a first-class bottle of wine and good times! Set very near to both the restaurant and the main pool, the warm atmosphere of Sandals Restaurant and the private beach are only a short walk away.

Condos
Our condos are elegantly decorated with natural materials like wood and granite, and have large patio doors that let the light and sea breeze in, allowing you to immerse yourself in the beautiful landscape of Mia from the comfort of your 'home'.
With a simple design of nearly 40sq metres, our condos are spacious and beautifully laid-out. Inside, the main room feels open and fresh, with a luxurious and comfortable bed, sofas with a coffee table, and a widescreen TV connected to our in-house entertainment system, for when you want to lose yourself in a film or TV series. The standard en-suite bathroom has a shower and, for those who like to take their time, a bathtub to enjoy long, relaxing soaks in.
Outside, the large terrace is an ideal place to relax and take in the fresh sea air, enjoy some room-service, or to watch the sun as it rises up over the horizon.
As with the villas, all of our Condos (bar the family condos) are the same, you simply choose the location.
- Ocean View Condos: Situated close to the sea, these condos are away from the other villas, with a breath-taking view of the ocean from the terrace, and are perfect if you love the sound and smells of the ocean. A quick walk across the beach takes you to the main restaurant and swimming pool area, so you are never far from the action.
- Garden View Condos: Set within the manicured gardens, with a lush banana plantation naturally cooling the condos, these are ideally located to all the main facilities on site, such as the restaurants, pool and spa, and include a wonderful view of the resort, palm trees and sea from the terrace.
- Family Condos: For those who want a bit more space and a few extra home options, this option is ideal for a family! Built and finished to the usual Mia standard, our Family Condos have two bedrooms: one double with en-suite, and one twin with en-suite. A lounge area is great for families, and facilities for warming milk, or making simple foods to feed your children, and to perform necessary washing duties are included, just to make your life a little simpler. Two televisions are included, connected to our in-house media system, to allow both audiences to enjoy their favourite programs. And to top it all, the serene setting on the waterfront allows Mum and Dad to have a quiet drink whilst being only footsteps away from the little ones.

Mia Suites
An ideal option for sharing with family and friends, these are very large and spacious, allowing you to enjoy time with your family and friends, but to also give you the chance to slip away to relax and enjoy privacy. We have two Mia Suites set on the cliff top, giving you the beautiful view and sounds of the East Sea, and each one comes with a private splash pool, so you and your family or friends can take a cooling dip, or have fun, at any time. The suite has two bedrooms with an interior of over 55sq/m each and features an indoor and outdoor lounge with a private garden. En-suite bathrooms are luxurious and spacious with both an indoor and outdoor shower as well as bathtub. The dining room and lounge area is over 65sq/m overlooking the private splash pool and terrace area. These suites come complete with mini kitchenette, indoor and outdoor lounge, dining room, pool deckchairs and all the trimmings.
