The drive will take 170km from Hanoi, along National Highway No 1 to Thanh Hoa city. Then, turn left onto National Highway No 47 to Sam Son Town. Van Chai Sam Son Resort is on the left with private beach. It takes only 3.5hours with regular speed.

On the way, you will enjoy a lot of famous sightseeing places as Hoa Lu, Tam Coc, Bich Dong.., Trieu Temple... and beautiful rice fields, villages along the roads.
