The Shells Resort & Spa offers a choice of four room types – all with magnificent full sea views and private balconies.

Open the full-length floor-to-ceiling glass doors and walk out on to your private balcony to take in the stunning ocean views. Relax on your daybed with a book, or perhaps a refreshing cold drink, while you listen to the waves gently breaking on the shore just metres away.

 

Back inside your room you’ll find an elegant wet room with an invigorating deluge shower. You’ll also discover a spacious vanity area and the amazing marble bath – perfect for a long soak at the end of your day.

 

If you have work to catch up, there’s a writing desk and, of course, we offer free wi-fi in all rooms. When you’ve finished working, sit back and unwind on one of the two sofas that run the length of the room.

 

All rooms are situated on just two floors, and you’re never more than a short stroll from all of the resort facilities.

 

Its shell-shaped child-friendly pool, with strong lines and stylish curves, blends seamlessly into the surrounding design elements of the resort.

Arriving at the open-air reception area, you’ll instantly feel more relaxed as you begin your spa visit with a soothing herbal tea. Beyond the spacious reception area, a graceful, winding corridor leads you to the 17 treatment rooms (single and double), steam rooms, saunas, beauty salon and gymnasium – everything you could possibly need to feel rejuvenated and invigorated.

 

The single treatment rooms have private open-air bamboo showers so you leave your massage session cleansed and refreshed. Additionally, for further relaxation, you can enjoy a footbath in a secluded courtyard overlooking the gardens adjoining the spa.

Aromatherapy Bliss – 60 minutes

An hour of total indulgence to completely relax you and help drive out muscular and mental tension. This body treatment is a perfect antidote to the stress of modern life, transcending the healing powers of touch with the benefits of 100% natural essential oils.

Deep Tissue Treatment – 60 minutes

A treatment that works deep into the muscle fibres and tissue, providing soothing relief to sore and tense bodies. The 100% natural body oil will complete this deep tissue treatment by releasing muscle pain and leaving your body deeply relaxed.

Hot Stones Therapy – 60 minutes

A combination of relaxing warmth and refreshing coolness encourages the body to detox and heal, increasing lymphatic flow and helping to flush out waste. With the addition of heat, your body feels relaxed in a shorter space of time, so your therapist can focus on a deep working of the tissues using both stones and hand strokes. The stones are coated in 100% natural essential oils to increase your sense of relaxation and calm.

 

Express Facial – 30 minutes

When time is rushed, this quick but deep facial treatment will leave you with a healthy glow in no time.

Calming Facial – 60 minutes

For all skin types, Calming Facial combines all the therapeutic benefits of a traditional European facial. Your skin regains balance, radiance and vitality.

Anti-aging Facial – 60 minutes

This “mini face-lift” through a signature technique stimulates collagen and elastin production to increase your skin’s circulation. The skin is brightened, tightened and lifted to reduce signs of aging and stress.

 

Manicure or Pedicure – 30 minutes

For women and men. Nails, cuticle care and nail polish.

French Manicure or Pedicure – 45 minutes

Please note that the minimum age for spa guests is 16 years.

 

Please arrive at the Waves Spa Reception at least 20 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to enjoy the spa’s complimentary sauna and steam facilities. Kindly understand that if you are delayed, your treatment time will be limited as a courtesy to the next guest. To ensure the tranquility of the spa we ask all guests to turn off their electronic devices upon arrival.

 

Maintaining your sense of comfort is extremely important to us. Most spa treatments are enjoyed without clothing and you will be discreetly draped at all times. Disposable underwear, boxer shorts, bathrobes and slippers are also available to you.

 

We recommend that you leave your valuables in your room. Whilst lockers are available in the spa we can not accept responsibility for any loss of or damage to your personal items. To meet your highest expectations, please let us know if we can adjust the room temperature, music volume or the pressure of your treatment.

 

If you are under the supervision of a doctor or are using any medications, please obtain permission from your doctor before scheduling / receiving services. It is your responsibility to inform our staff of any medical conditions or physical limitation you may have, including but not limited to: heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, recent injuries, accidents or surgeries; sensitivities, allergies, skin conditions or pregnancy.

 

CANCELLATIONS (apply to non-resort guests only)

All treatments can be cancelled at no charge before the appointment. For cancellations made within 4 hours of the scheduled appointment time, the guest will be charged 50% of the treatment cost. Guests failing to attend at the time of their appointment, without prior notification, will be liable to pay in full for treatments and therapies that had been booked.
