Dong Kinh Hotel built by one of the Chinese traders and put into operation in 1964 with Japanese decor, so called "Tokyo Hotel". Object at that time is U.S, Korea, the Philippines… accommodation, entertainment in here.  After 1975, hotel mainly serves Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Malaysia traders… is the most modern and largest hotel in Saigon at that time.

 

In 1989, the hotel is merged into the Cholon Tourism Service Company, the later is ChoLon tourist Joint stock company with Business Guideline: "Professional – Quality - Efficiency". The history is almost 50 years, Hotels have created credibility of domestic and  foreign customers, especially the Chinese-speaking customers.

 

In order to satisfy all the needs of growing and diverse customer, hotel constantly investment, upgrading equipment, newly built and put into operation block B 10/09/2009 & block A 09/09/2010. Vietnam National Administration of Tourism appraisaled and certified 3-star standard.
